Priceless Endings

A/N: Okay, so this is an old one-shot I wrote back in 2010 for a contest on Quizilla, which I won by the way; first place! Anyway, I re-found it and realized it was actually kinda good so I fixed up a few typos and figured I post it here! This is a WWE one-shot and for the contest I had to use the lyric: I wanna kick your teeth in, plastic smile to match your style’ from the song Hollywood Whore by Papa Roach. Also note that Amoureux and petite amie – both mean sweetheart, but are two different ways of saying it. Enjoy as always!

Haley made a face at the back of Maryse’s head; she knew she was being childish, but honestly, the brunette didn’t care. Maryse had what Haley had wanted for eight years. Ted DiBiase jr’s attention.

Back when Haley had been 14, she moved with her mother from their small town in North Carolina, to Clinton, Mississippi. Haley had been against it at first, as she didn’t want to leave her life behind, but she soon grew sick of the looks she and her mother would garner and the pity; all because her father had left them one day and never came back.

After a fight at school, Haley’s mother moved them back out to where she had grown up herself.

At first, Haley had trouble settling in, but then ran into the guy who would be her best friend; Brett DiBiase. The two shared the same math class and soon found out they shared a love for wrestling.

As her and Brett’s friendship grew, so did Haley’s crush on his elder brother, Ted. While harboring a crush on the elder DiBiase, Haley’s love for wrestling grew and along with Brett she worked to be able to join WWE. After years of wrestling, Haley was signed and soon on RAW. Which she had hoped would get her closer with Ted, but instead it caused her to be up close and personal with the man and woman causing her heart break.

A hero only in death
Misjudged and betrayed
Love given and taken

Lost on his path
Till it’s ripped away from him
On a new path he wonders
Better and happier

But self-destruction is his middle name
And so he pushes away his love
And wonders back to his old path way

A/N: Okay, so this poem was inspired by a character. If you did not watch the season finale of Arrow do not read under the read more! Or if you have this post open, then don’t read any further!

The Curse

A/N: Once again this is another story written during Writing Club. The prompt was ‘Write about a curse’ and something about opening a pirate treasure chest (aka the curse of opening the chest) but we kinda just y’know wrote about a curse that we came up with. What follows is my story that I wrote. Enjoy.

xXx

Tom Warwick was a dangerous man; at least that’s what everyone said. What else could you say about a man who lived in a large mansion all alone when he first built said mansion? People whispered about the weird sounds and disappearing animals but it wasn’t till people started disappearing that something was done. Tom was attacked by a mob of townspeople who hung him in the town square as he cursed them before burying his body in an unmarked grave.

The mansion was left to squander and for the Earth to take over as no one dared to step foot inside of a place filled with dark acts and who knows what ungodly things from the other side?

That is…till the present time where the stories of old Tom Warwick were nothing but old wives tales and just silly stories meant to scare younger siblings.

That’s where our story begins…
