Long time no post, right? Well, it’s only been a little over a month but anyhow… Sadly, I don’t come with a new poem, cooking post or anything like that. Just one of my lovely rambling posts. I’m still struggling with my thumb/hand issue which we thought had cleared up but now we’re not so sure as the pain is returning and I can’t write too long at a time. And on top of that I’ve gotten sick and what was thought to be a sinus infection, may not be or may have something else on top of it. Fun, right?

Okay, so I really have no idea what this post should be about. I have ideas sure, but nothing I really feel like writing about right now. So, I guess this post serves as an, ‘I’m alive I swear and I haven’t forgotten about this blog!’ kind of post.

Though I do have one thing to talk – uh, blog about. I started to kind of keep a journal again. I say, ‘kind of’ as I don’t write in it everyday. I just write when I have something to ramble about that I know no one cares about or about things that I need to get off my chest as well as quotes, random drawings, lyrics, and so on. I’ve already realized a few things, thanks to it as it seems I manage somehow to always get off topic or find something to write about (*cough* so unusual, right?).

I know there are people that write in their journals (or diaries if you prefer) everyday, detailing every bit of their lives or those that write whenever they need to and then there are those who can’t keep a journal to save their life. And honestly, that was me when I was younger. I’d write when something would happen or when family drama would happen but eventually I just stopped. I actually found three of my old journals over a month ago and that’s kind of how I got back into using a journal.

And now I have no idea of how to finish up this post. From the time I started this post to now has been over two hours and my thoughts have gotten shifted around, emotions messed up and family drama just piled on top of everything along with idiots. So I’m not quite sure what I wanted to bring up with this post.

I do wonder about how other people keep up with their journals, if they do. Do they feel the need to detail every part of their life or just the important parts aka things that changed them or things that want to always remember? Is it filled with quotes and lyrics that they love? Are there little drawings in the corners, along the words or right in the middle of the page? Do they write in straight lines or do they start in a corner or have the page upside down or what? Everyone has their own style and it shows, I think in the way people keep their journals, diaries or even their blogs. There’s people that haven’t updated their’s in months or years while some are updated everyday or every couple of weeks.

I dunno, but I guess that really, I just think that you can find out a lot abut a person and who they are with how they keep a journal, without even having to read any of it. And I guess that’s it for this ramble session.

Till next time!
